Today it was just a gloomy day. What does a gloomy day make you want to do?
Just makes you want to curl up with her, doesn’t it?
Actually she does this when I tell her I have to go back to work. She doesn’t appreciate the fact that I have to work to put food in her tummy.
So when it is cold, wet and rainy what sounds best for supper? Soup of course. What kind of soup? Lasagna Soup.

This soup is quick and easy to make plus it tastes just like Lasagna.
All you need is the following ingredients:
It talkes about 45 minutes to make and it is well worth the time. Plus an added bonus is it doesn’t have all the extra cheese and calories that lasagna normally has.
Now off to hit the treamill. Have a great night.
So the snow they predicted? It arrived.
Yes, we have snow. Aren’t we the lucky ones?
So before the snow started Chickie and I went out and did a little “Dear Hunt”.
Since it is opening deer hunting weekend, the local businesses decided to do a “Dear Hunt” for the women of the town. Plus they made it a scavenger hunt so if you found the stores with all the letters then you are entered into a drawing. Plus some of the businesses were giving away prizes if you wore orange. There were all kinds of neat shops to see.
It was great to do this plus I got some Christmas shopping done.
When I got home it was time to pull out the dishwasher.
So since we moved into this house our dishwasher has not ran correctly. I have put up with it but on Black Friday – Sears had a deal on dishwashers I could not refuse. Half off. Can’t go wrong there. Plus I got Hubby to scrub the floors after we took it out.
So tomorrow we are off to pick up the new one and to put it in on Monday. Won’t that be great couple bonding time?
So what do you make for supper when all it has done all day today is this?
Why soup of course.
Potatoe and Ham Soup. Print Recipe
Plus what else do you make when it is snowing outside?
Chex mix. Yum, yum and more yum. This will be the death of me by the weekend.
Now off to spend time with the family. Have a great night.

TGIF!! Hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday.
We are bracing for a winter storm. They are saying anywhere from 4 to 7 inches of snow. Which it is supposed to start during the night. Someone thinks it is going to happen inside the house or she thinks our house is really cold. I’m not sure which.
So I did another epic fail today. I didn’t get up a run. Of course the phone rang at 4:24 a.m. It was Hubby’s work. They needed to get into an office and he was the only one they could get a hold of with a key. So then I laid there for 20 minutes and finally fell back asleep and when the alarm went off I couldn’t get out of bed. So needless to say I was running kind of late today. So no pictures of food.
So instead of hitting the gym at noon I went Christmas shopping.
Aren’t these the cutest? They are ponytail holders. I got them to put in Chickie’s stocking. I do believe she will love them. She is finally getting into the glittery things so this will be interesting to see how she likes them.
So instead of working at work today, what did I do? Decorated for Christmas.
We put the Christmas tree up. Of course we have a pre-lit tree so that helps a lot. But it is always nice to see how the office changes when you put up the Christmas decorations.
I also made a wreath at work today.
We had the wreath at work and I add all the decorations to it. I must admit, it turned out quite nice. So today instead of doing my normal work, I put up Christmas decorations and made a wreath. All in all, not a bad day at the office.
Now it’s off to spend some time with the family. Have a great night.
So I had an epic fail this morning. Since it is December 1st I thought I would start the month off getting up at 5:15 a.m. to run. Well the alarm went off and what did I do? I hit the snooze for 45 minutes straight. I am not good at all getting up when it is dark and cold outside. So I didn’t get my run in.
So what do you have for breakfast when you’ve slept in and it is cold outside? Pancakes of course.
